Economic Mobility
Community Forge’s Economic Mobility program supports local individuals and families as they strive for financial independence. This includes crucial resources such as household supplies, legal and systems navigation, and opportunities for skill-building and job training.
Since October 2024, Economic Mobility has been providing resource coordination and support to the community and has greatly expanded since that time.
Our mission is to ignite the potential within every individual we serve by fostering stability and sustainable economic growth. We break down barriers to economic mobility through advocacy, robust support systems and equitable access to resources. By doing this, we are able to transform lives, uplift our community and build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Workforce Development
As our programs grew, it became clear that pathways to employment and career was a needed solution for our participants. We began doing family services and case management, removing barriers to work, in October 2024. Since then we've been building employment partnerships and in Spring 2025 launched our first mechatronics workforce cohort.
In December 2025, we launched Forging Futures, a new 12-week workforce development program that kicked off in February 2026. Participants had the opportunity to receive hands-on training in cutting-edge AI, manufacturing, tech and more, with access to state-of-the-art equipment and expert educators.
In partnership with Catalyst Connection, we're proud to announce the next iteration of that program, Forging Futures: Robotics & Manufacturing, beginning June 15th.
We’ll provide program participants with the skills you need to succeed in a career in robotics and manufacturing, including employability skills training, industry-recognized credentials, and support to remove life barriers to employment.
Applications are due June 1.
