Community Forge’s Economic Mobility program supports local individuals and families as they strive for financial independence. This includes crucial resources such as household supplies, legal and systems navigation, and opportunities for skill-building and job training.

Since October 2024, Economic Mobility has been providing resource coordination and support to the community and has greatly expanded since that time.

Our mission is to ignite the potential within every individual we serve by fostering stability and sustainable economic growth. We break down barriers to economic mobility through advocacy, robust support systems and equitable access to resources. By doing this, we are able to transform lives, uplift our community and build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

As our programs grew, creating pathways to sustainable and gainful employment became essential. We started with family services and case management in October 2024 to help remove everyday barriers to work.

Since then, we've established a strong employer network and launched our first mechatronics cohort in Spring 2025. In December 2025, we launched Forging Futures to give participants hands-on training with modern equipment, expert instructors, and practical skills in AI, tech, and manufacturing.

Following our summer robotics cohort, we’re proud to announce our third cohort: Forging Futures: Powered Up.

Partnering with Catalyst Connection, this 6–8 week program starts October 5th at Mill 19 and Community Forge. Open to individuals 18+ with zero experience required, you'll earn up to $400 while gaining industry credentials, tech skills, and trade fundamentals.

We provide career coaching and ongoing support so you can step into a manufacturing job with confidence.
