Current fundraising priorities
Internal Capacity
Community Forge has grown to 35 staff due to the success of our programs. However, our back-office is thin and we are hoping to raise at least $50K toward a new director of programs.
Playground
We've been renovating our playground as a public park for the past 3 years. We are now looking to purchase new play equipment to go on our beautified grounds.
Community Events
We try to host as many free community events as we can each year, such as our open mic series. These events are costly from a time and staffing perspective. We also have many community members who would love to use our space. Our goal is to raise an events fund of $25,000.
Sustaining a community space takes a village
To serve our youth, families, artists, local businesses, and to offer our space as a facility for social action and community togetherness, your financial support and labor are needed.
Your dollars and labor will go directly to supporting free community programming, beautifying our grounds for all to enjoy, and subsidizing community service organizations.
